Every mattress needs a sturdy reliable foundation to support the highest quality mattresses. Our foundations are made to go under your mattress, on top of slats which sits on top of rails. You need a foundation if you have a headboard and footboard. We use extra wide slats in our foundation. The bed ends hook together and you screw the slats and center support down.
